THE TOUCH OF SATAN is a film I originally saw on MST3K (and that version is actually on Netflix Instant), and that is the far superior way to watch the flick. So do yourself a favor and watch that. Yeahhhhhhhhh. DO IT!
This movie hold up so well! Had a blast watching THE FRIGHTENERS due to some great acting(several people steal the scenes anytime they are on), fun plot lines and most of the special effects hold up really well (minus the first scene CGI, that did not). If you are looking for something that is a bunch of fun but does indeed have a dark edge to it, check out this Peter Jackson classic!
Some people prefer ALIEN to ALIENS, or vice versa, but they both will always hold a very special place in my heart. Like many my age, I saw ALIENS before the first movie, and it reeks of 80′s cliche action and horror movies, but is one of the best to do it. Everything is a bit over the top, but grounded with great special effects and creatures. If you haven’t watched this recently, I think it would be a great time to revisit it.
